School summer holidays are fast approaching.....

As school summer holidays are fast approaching, I’m sure a question that is on every parents mind is what to do with the kids. Well there are lots of things to do this summer in and around Stoke on Trent.

I’ve shared a few things with you to give ideas of how to keep them entertained.

Alton Towers

If you fancy an action packed day with plenty of thrills for the whole family why not take a trip to Alton Towers which is UK’s leading theme park that offers more than just a theme park, why not visit the waterpark, have a game of mini golf, try the high tree tops rope course or experience the recently opened dungeons at Alton Towers.

Trentham Gardens and Monkey Forest

Looking for something that is a bit more relaxed and chilled out why not take a visit to Trentham Gardens for a leisurely stroll around the lake and gardens there’s plenty for the kids to do…. play in the sandpits, climb the nets or hide in the maze. Close by are also the monkey forest and the high tree ropes course if you fancy a thrilling adventure.

Park Hall Country Park

If you love nature, walking and incredible views then this is well worth a visit. Offering a range of walks for the entire family, see the local wildlife and wild plants whilst reaching the top of the hills, then looking at views all over the city. A great place to take a picnic.

Burslem Park

For a free family day out then Burslem Park is a brilliant place to take the family. Take a stroll around the beautiful gardens and the pond whilst on the lookout for wildlife There is a children’s play area for little ones and a skate park, tennis courts and playing field for the older ones. Then round your day off with an ice cream at the pavilion café.
