Easter, fun ideas for days out

The Easter Holidays are looming, the cost of all those days out can mount up and cause a shiver down your spine. We’ve made a list of some of the Places to Visit in Stoke-on-Trent that don’t have to cost you a penny……

Westport Lake

A great family day out, enjoy a stroll around the lake, walking, bird watching, beautiful scenery, followed by a treat at the café.

Potteries Museum and Art Gallery

Something for everyone, wander around the galleries seeing examples of local history, walk around and see the local pub, a chip shop and a schoolroom. See examples of Staffordshire ceramics. Dress up in period costumes. Let the children learn and have fun with the hands on activities.

Central Forest Park

Set slap bang in the middle of the city is a delightful green space with a picturesque lake, a perfect place for walking, cycling and skateboarding. A playground to let your little ones run of some of that stored up energy. Round your visit off with a feast in the picnic area.

Trentham Shopping Village

A selection of timber huts housing a selection of shops, cafes and restaurants situated alongside the Trentham Garden Centre. It offers free parking every day ideal for that last minute present or a catch up with friends with a coffee.
